What is your story?

I always knew I was a little different than everyone else, not the best in school because it didn't mean much to me to learn something I didn't care about for a few weeks to just forget it the next. I craved something more than just a textbook world to sit in a cubicle defined by the person in charge. I wanted to be my own boss to be able to open up opportunities beyond my wildest dreams and be able to create the life that I actually loved. To be able to show up for myself, family, and friends without the stress that I needed to choose work over them. So therefore, I created my own online coaching business to help women achieve dreams they never thought possible and to push them to make those dreams a reality! Going through college has given me my best friends, opportunities, and experiences I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Now that this chapter is closing, I am excited to see what the next chapter has in store and excited for all of the new friends, opportunities, and experiences I will be able to make!

What is your business?

Youtube as well as coaching business! https://kaitlinsonday.wixsite.com/mysite is the website name for the time being!

Who is your entrepreneurial inspiration OR biggest hero?

Biggest hero is my mom, she is a single mom and taught me that hard word and dedication can get you so far in life. No matter what life throws at you, you still keep going and never back down. Show up for yourself and remember to always eat dessert first.

What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?

Believe in yourself, pinpoint your strengths and monetize off of those!

What has been your favorite "Engler Experience" to date?

Brave Convos was amazing! It got me connected to the amazing women in Engler and made life long friendships! As well as meeting with Dave every week to talk about my crazy ideas!

What has been the biggest hurdle or struggle you've dealt with in your entrepreneurial journey?

The biggest struggle I have dealt with so far is time. With college and working, it's hard to be able to put your business first when you know that's all you want to do and think about. So I have had to really let go and realize my business will always be here when I graduate and that doesn't mean I can't work on it during summers! I am excited to see what my potential is once I graduate in December and be able to 100% focus on my business!
