What is your story?

Throughout high school I was heavily involved with numerous extracurricular activities while also starting several different ventures. Everything from growing a cow/calf operation to operating a seamless gutter machine. Once in college I knew my passion was being directly involved with production agriculture. Though there have been ups and downs with production agriculture, I continue to persevere and look for opportunities to grow. After college I accepted a full time position as a Farm Manager and Real Estate Salesperson in Norfolk, Neb., with Hertz Farm Management while also maintaining interests in my own operation.

Who is your entrepreneurial inspiration OR biggest hero?

I've had a lot of great entrepreneurial influences in my life, but I would still say my parents are my biggest inspiration. From an early age they instilled values and taught me lessons through their entrepreneurial experiences.

If your story were made into a movie, what actor/actress would portray you and why?

Sam Elliot because he portrays everything that is American.

What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?

There are a lot of good ideas out there, but if a person doesn't ever act on those ideas (no matter how small) then that person is only a dreamer. Don't be a dreamer, be an entrepreneur.
