What is your story?
I grew up on a small farm in southeast Nebraska. As a young boy I learned quick that my life wasn't going to be an easy one. I worked on the farm at a young age, teaching me humility, life skills, and also that hard work always pays off. My father started this business 20 years ago with the purpose of getting cheaper feed for his cattle operation, but as the years moved on, our customer list grew larger and larger and we stopped raising cattle, but continued selling feed. It is my hope that when I go back home, that we can take this business further than my father had ever dreamed of.
Who is your entrepreneurial inspiration OR biggest hero?
My father who started farming 30 years ago, and started this business 20 years ago. Times have been tough and times have been good, but no matter the circumstance, he always finds a way to make things happen. He never quits when things get tough, he just works harder and gets it done.
If your story were made into a movie, what actor/actress would portray you and why?
I don't have anyone in mind, but it would need to be someone that understands where I come from, possibly someone that was raised under similar circumstances. Someone that is humble, works hard, and doesn't pay attention to what society thinks of him.
What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?
Work hard and never give up no matter what.
