Wildimpact

What is your story?

I've been an animal catching bushman my whole life. I grew up on a small acreage where I caught, or attempted to catch, all sorts of snakes, birds, and mammals. I spent a lot of time observing and learning the ways of the wildlife and enjoying natural resources. I decided to start a small time animal control service in high school, as well as a taxidermy business. I'm still very fond of those ideas, but since my family moved my focus has shifted to educating and inspiring others to enjoy the wildlife and the outdoors. Wildlife and nature have made a huge impact on my life in ways foundational and vital to life as a good human being. I see so many people in this day and age that don't have those morals and basic empathy, because they haven't been able to receive and enjoy this wonderful creation God has blessed us with. It is my goal to show them the wonders and beauties of this world and inspire them to go out and enjoy it for themselves.

What is your business?

Wildimpact, a multi-facet wildlife education enterprise. Informative articles, blogging, YouTube videos, and social networking are my main channels for reaching my audience. wildimpact.blogspot.com

If your story were made into a movie, what actor/actress would portray you and why?

Robert Downey Jr. would portray my character because his character is usually dynamic, clever, and smart. His work in Sherlock Holmes, and the Iron Man movies seem to reflect my personality well.

What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?

Don't be intimidated by what your fellow students are doing. Don't feel rushed or pressured to figure out your idea. It will come in due time.
