What is your story?

At an early age I was introduced to deer hunting by dad. I am sure at the time both my parents had no idea what they had started. I quickly progressed from casual hunter to obsessed hunter. Hunting snow geese, deer and turkey. Enjoying more than the harvest of an animal, I am often in awe as I sit in my tree stand or blind. My true passion is for the wildlife and their habitat. My entrepreneurial passion comes from a desire to do what I love and earn a living doing it. Entrepreneurship allows me to control my own future. My passion for whitetail hunting has led me to starting an entrepreneurial journey that I am proud to be on.

What is your business?

My current business, Whitetail Instinct, is a whitetail deer hunting web series. It is focused on hunting public land whitetails, and providing information on all things whitetail hunting. I am also in the process of developing a habitat management consulting business.

Who is your entrepreneurial inspiration OR biggest hero?

My parents are my biggest heroes. They have a great work ethic and have shown me the value of hard work and being a good person. Their support throughout my life and in my recent entrepreneurial ventures has been amazing and I can't thank them enough.

If your story were made into a movie, what actor/actress would portray you and why?

Chris Pratt: He is a passionate hunter and a great overall person.

What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?

Go for it! Once you have found your passion and have a business idea, start working towards starting the business. There is no better time than now. Once you have decided to start your business, work everyday towards making the business better and realize that hard work is required. If you want it bad enough, you can do it.
