What is your story?

It all started by creating work and ways to make money for myself in middle school. At the time, I baled hay and sold it to local horse owners, which inspired me to continue to create my own work. In college, I graduated debt free because of my ability to find work in video and photo production. Today, although I have a fulltime job, I still operate a freelance video and photo company. My mission is to create meaningful work for myself and others, while creating inspiring videos and photographs.

Who is your entrepreneurial inspiration OR biggest hero?

I grew up with a father and grandfather who were both farmers. I often look to the two of them as my entrepreneurial inspiration because my grandfather started the operation while my father has kept it thriving.

What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?

Say "yes!" Some of the best advice I have heard from an entrepreneur is to simply say "yes" when someone asks you or your company to do something. One entrepreneur talked about how he would often say "yes" to developing a website or producing animation, then would research how to actually do it. The successful entrepreneurs have the drive to actually say "yes" and get the job done, no matter the task.
