What is your story?

I grew up in a family that valued integrity and hard work. I started my entrepreneurial journey in high school with a small lawn care and landscaping company that I started and ran through high school and into college. I have always had a passion for entrepreneurship, leadership and business ownership but over this period I also developed a passion for feeding cattle, the futures markets, finance and stocks. In the spring of 2014 I sold my lawn and landscape business to further pursue my passion in the cattle feeding industry, but the journey is just beginning!

What is your business?

My passion and big business ideas revolve around feeding cattle and creating enterprises with a culture of excellence.

Who is your entrepreneurial inspiration OR biggest hero?

One of my biggest inspirations on my entrepreneurial journey has been Arnold Schwarzenegger. Mr. Schwarzenegger has taught me not to be afraid to be different from everyone else, to forget what everyone around might think and to chase what I know is right. He has taught me to stay focused and to keep moving, to rise early, keep moving and work like hell.

What advice would you give to a student starting their entrepreneurial journey?

To make use of the time that other people waste. Start now and do something to work towards your goal, whatever it is. Love everyone around you and love what you do, I believe really strongly that the more love you give to everyone around you the more success you will find. Don't aim to be average and don't plan on being normal because when you set out to make things happen nothing you do will ever be considered "normal."
